Terms of service

Effective October 13, 2026

These terms cover your use of beaconcareerservices.com and of our WhatsApp line. By using either one, you agree to them. How we handle your information is in our privacy policy.

What these terms cover

Beacon Career Services (“Beacon”, “we”, “us”) is a staffing agency in the United States. These terms apply to this website and to anything you send us through it, by email or on WhatsApp. If you work an assignment through us, or hire through us, you’ll also sign a written agreement for that, and where the two differ, the signed agreement wins.

Using this website

The trades, pay, timings and figures on this site describe the work we usually do. They aren’t a job offer or a price quote. The rate that counts is the one written down before you accept an assignment or sign an agreement with us.

Messaging us on WhatsApp

  • When you message our WhatsApp number, you agree that we can answer you there, including with automated messages that ask about the work you’re after and tell you about openings that fit.
  • An automated reply is never a job offer. Offers come from a recruiter, in writing.
  • We only start a WhatsApp conversation with you after you’ve written to us first or told us we can. Reply STOP, or just tell us, and we’ll stop.
  • Your phone carrier’s message and data rates may apply. WhatsApp itself is provided by Meta, under its own terms.
  • Please don’t send a Social Security number or bank details over chat. When we need them to hire you, we ask for them with the hiring paperwork.

If you’re looking for work

  • Beacon never charges workers anything: no fee, no deposit, no charge for boots, gear or training. Anyone asking you for money in Beacon’s name isn’t us; tell melo@beaconcareerservices.com.
  • Getting in touch, or being matched to a job, doesn’t guarantee an interview, an assignment or a set number of hours.
  • Tell us the truth about your experience, licenses, tickets and availability. We check licenses and certifications, and an assignment can end if something that matters for the job turns out not to be true.
  • To work through us, you need to be legally allowed to work in the United States. We confirm that on Form I-9 when you’re hired.
  • On a contract assignment you’re Beacon’s employee, paid weekly by us. Your rate, shift and site rules are put in writing before you start.

If you’re hiring

Pricing on this site is general. The rates, guarantees and replacement terms for your company are the ones in the written agreement we sign with you, and that agreement governs our work together.

What you send us

What you send us stays yours: a résumé, photos of your licenses, a description of a job. You give us permission to use it to find you work or to fill your job, as the privacy policy describes. Only send what’s yours to share.

Fair use

Don’t use this site or our WhatsApp line to send spam, harass anyone, pretend to be someone else, send anything harmful, or try to break into or overload our systems. We can block numbers and addresses that do.

What we don’t promise

We work to keep this site accurate and running, but we provide it as it is, and we can’t promise it will always be available or free of mistakes. We aren’t responsible for other websites we link to, WhatsApp’s included.

Liability

As far as the law allows, Beacon isn’t liable for indirect or consequential losses from using this website or our messaging, and our total liability for anything arising from them is limited to $100. None of this limits your rights as an employee under employment law, or any liability the law doesn’t allow us to limit.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms. When we do, the date at the top changes, and the version posted here is the one that applies. These terms are governed by United States law and the law of the state where Beacon Career Services is registered.
